What software is best for downloading free music?

So Im done loading all of my cds onto iTunes, and I dont always have a gift card loaded on my account. So I used to rely on friends free music software like Limewire for free music, but I want my own, yet I cant afford to ruin my computer. So please if anyone can give me a good company and your opinion if it slows down your computer or what, because I may use Limewire, but I hear it may cause viruses, so yeah please help. trust me. . its cool how it brings up the music you search for. . it actually like pulls it out of each individuals music folder. . so you get whole albums. . right click n say download containg folder. .

and have you not tried torrents. . i just got 47 albums of bob marley in 4 hrs and 22 albums of z-ro in a couple hours. . download utorrent from www.utorrent.com...and then search for torrents on www.mininova.org or www.seedpeer.com. . . .

i use torrents for most everything. . but its that hard to find **** thats always on soulseek

lime wire does couse viruses but thats if and only you download the wrong file wich is rare just download the files that have more downloads that way your chances of getting a virus are very low
