What is the difference between Software Engineering and Computer Science?

I want to be a software engineer and I've been looking at colleges and some colleges have Software Engineer and some have software engineer and computer science. So if I got a major in computer science, would I be able to be a software engineer?What is the difference between Software Engineering and Computer Science?
Yes, it is possible to be a Software Engineer if you completed a major in Computer Science. Depending on the company you're applying to, the theoretical materials learned in college will even help get you hired. For example, Software Engineer positions that involve engineering research (whether directly or indirectly) tend hire people with educational experience that pertains to the research and therefore, Mathematics majors are also good candidates for it.What is the difference between Software Engineering and Computer Science?
If you want to be a Software Engineer, take either Software Engineering or Computer Engineering. Computer Science is too theoretical and impractical.
