So I really want my fan to just stop, is there any free software out there that I can use for this purpose, my laptop is a HP dv6700 and well I operate this thing in a cold environment so fans aren't that necessary, and the fans still operate because I think something is spoiled but gosh the noise is just unbearable.What can I do to make my Notebook fan to just shut up?
The fan is operating because it thinks the laptop is hot. Don't try to change that.
It's noisy because the blades are dirty or damaged, so try cleaning them.What can I do to make my Notebook fan to just shut up?
Get a Mac.
